ABOUT THE CURATOR
Bárbara Amaia Bielitz (Santiago de Chile, 1988) is an independent artist and educator based in Berlin. Her practice moves between feminism, technology, science fiction, and community work with FLINTA* communities and posthuman perspectives.
In 2020 she co-founded Sorora e.V., a Berlin-based organization for artistic and cultural projects with migrant communities. Since 2021 she has also been developing CiberCamp, a project that connects sci-fi, feminisms, and technology, and she is the curator of the short film program Speculative Ecologies at the Vierte Welle Film Festival. She currently leads Planetarer Lernraum at the Joan-Miró-Grundschule, a transdisciplinary learning space.
She holds a Master of Arts from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the University of Chile.
